RZ2.5 Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump
The RZ2.5 is part of the VACUUBRAND®XS series of rotary vane vacuum pumps. These pumps have been designed from the ground up for best performance in laboratory applications. The RZ2.5 is an excellent choice for small freeze dryers, small centrifugal concentrators or other low-temperature evaporations of high boiling point solvents, molecular distillations, and other applications where diaphragm pumps cannot provide sufficient vacuum. The RZ2.5 is: Quiet The XS series of pumps is designed for very low noise and vibration. Small and Energy Efficient The XS vacuum pumps are substantially smaller and lighter than pumps of comparable capacity, saving you bench or floor space. Motors were selected for their energy efficiency. Rugged & Low Maintenance The XS series of pumps features many nitrogen-plasma treated parts in the flowpath to increase corrosion resistance. Integrated gas ballast helps ensure exceptional water vapor tolerance with minimal impact on ultimate vacuum. Wearing forces have also been reduced for longer service intervals. Great Value All of these features are available on pumps that are comparable in price to old-design belt-drive and direct-drive vacuum pumps.
